- MTB Worlds continue with U23 womens XC and four-cross qualification
The 2010 UCI Mountain Bike World Championships continued on Thursday with the U23 women's cross country contest and the elite men's and women's four-cross qualification rounds.

- 13 Stars-and-Stripes awarded on day one of Masters Track Nationals
The 2010 Richardson Bike Mart USA Cycling Masters Track National Championships got underway on Wednesday, awarding 13 Stars-and-Stripes on Wednesday before the Texas skies opened up to a torrential suspending the evening session. All competition will resume in order on Thursday morning at 8:00 a.m. at the Superdrome.
- Mountain Bike Worlds open with team relay and junior women's XC
The 2010 UCI Mountain Bike World Championships kicked off on Wednesday with Todd Wells, Rob Squire, Seth Kemp, and Katie Compton placing the U.S. ninth in the team relay and junior rider Essence Barton riding to 13th place in the junior womenandrsquo;s cross country event.
- DEVELOPMENT WRAP: Road and MTB athletes busy around the world
A new group of junior road cyclists recently completed a trio of kermesses in Belgium while their off-road counterparts raced against world-class fields at the UCI Mountain Bike World Cup finale. U23 rider Andrew Talansky was second in a stage of Valle de Aosta last week. On the women's side of USA Cycling's development initiatives, a team of six young women just completed the Classica Citta di Padova and are now racing in the Holland Ladies Tour in the Netherlands.
- Richardson Bike Mart Masters Track Nats underway on Wednesday
The Richardson Bike Mart USA Cycling Masters Track National Championships will go off September 1-5 at the Superdome in Frisco, Texas. The two- and -three kilometer time trial events will kick things off on Wednesday. In all more than 250 masters track athletes will compete for the right to wear the Stars-and-Stripes signifying the country's best.
- NRC team titles decided at Chris Thater
Although Catherine Cheatley and Luis Amaran all but had the USA Cycling National Racing Calendar 2010 individual titles in the bag heading into the final event, their teams were still fighting for every point. The Fly V Australia men's squad pulled out all the stops at the Chris Thater Memorial, finishing one-and-two to lock down the men's team title. Cheatley finished second to help earn the overall women's title for the Colavita/Baci p/b Cooking Light ladies.
- Aaron Gwin fourth overall in the Downhill World Cup standings
The 2010 UCI Mountain Bike World Cup is officially in the books as racing wrapped up on Windham Mountain in New York's Catskills on Sunday with the men's and women's downhill contests. Reigning U.S. national champ Aaron Gwin earned a spot on the overall World Cup podium in only his second year racing the World Cup circuit. His fourth place finish in Sunday's final earned him fourth place overall in the final World Cup standings.
- Koerber ends World Cup season in 2nd overall as U.S. hosts finals
Saturday was a good day for American women as both Willow Koerber and Georgia Gould wrapped up the Mountain Bike World Cup season on the podium, in second and fourth respectively in the final overall standings. The women's success came during a busy day of racing at New York's Windham Mountain. The UCI Mountain Bike World Cup finale not only featured the elite men's and women's cross country contests on Saturday, but also the elite four cross competitions and the junior men's and women's cross country events.
- Registration for UCI Continental teams now open
Registration is now open for UCI's men's Continental and women's road teams. All teams wishing to register must contact USA Cycling before October 31. All UCI documents and contracts must be submitted to USA Cycling before November 5. New teams for 2011 should immediately contact USA Cycling Technical Director Shawn Farrell.
